Primeval Extract

In our media class we were doing textual analysis and representation of extracts. We as a group of 4 were told to look at a Primeval extract and analysis it. Our main question was to look at how the representation of gender is constructed in the extract. There were four parts of individual noted that we had to look at to answer this question. There were;

•  Camera shots, Movement and Composition
• Sound
• Editing
• Mise-en-scene

We then had to compare notes and make a PowerPoint presentation on the extract above.

Even though this is in our other media class it is still relevant to this media project as all of the above bullet points are points that I will need to consider for the opening sequence to a thriller to create the atmoshpere and the emotions which need to be conveyed to the audience when watching.
